High Intensity focused ultrasound penetrates the skin smoothly at varying depths of 1.5mm, 3mm and 4.5mm. It creates thermal energy in the underlying skin layers that leads to melting of the fat and shrinking of the tissue and promote the production of new collagen.
Most patients need 1-2 sessions. The procedure lasts approximately 30-45 minutes and requires topical anesthesia. A mild discomfort may be noted in the treated area for a couple of days post the procedure. The result is visible in 2-3 months after the procedure.
